Jose "Pepe" Diaz Recovering From Brain Surgery

WEST KENDALL (CBS4) - Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz is recovering in a South Florida hospital after having a tumor removed from his brain Monday.

Diaz underwent the procedure after receiving the diagnosis of a brain tumor, his spokesperson said.

The surgery was successful, and the District 12 commissioner is said to be in stable condition at Baptist Hospital.
