Man Struck, Killed By Train In Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) — A 33-year-old man was struck and killed by a train in Fort Lauderdale, officials said.

Officials said the accident happened at approximately 9:45 a.m. between NW 4th Street and the New River.

Northwest 2 Street and NW 4 Street of the FEC Railroad Tracks are closed as authorities investigate the accident and clear up the scene.

The man’s identity has not been released.
