Woman Hurt In Possible Fall From Broward Parking Garage
FT.LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami)- Fort Lauderdale police have a mystery on their hands involving a severely injured woman and a parking garage, and they are trying to figure out what happened.
Ft. Lauderdale police detective Travis Mandel said 29-year-old Kristen Green was found about 2:30 a.m. Friday behind 301 East Las Olas Boulevard, near a parking garage.
Police are not yet certain, but indications are the woman had been on the second floor of the parking garage at some point. Reports say her purse was found there, on a second floor ledge.
The woman was found below, still alive at that point. She suffered serious injuries to her head and was taken to Broward General Medical Center in critical condition.
