Man Accused Of Molesting Oakland Park Girl For A Decade

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - After more than a decade of abuse at the hands of a family friend, an Oakland Park teen has come forward and helped the Broward Sheriff's Office put him behind bars.

According to Special Victims Unit detectives the girl, who is now 16, said she was only 5 years old when 69-year old Luigi Stallone started sexually abusing her. She reportedly told investigators that Stallone forced her into illicit sexual encounters approximately three to four times a week between January 2000 and January 2005. She said over the years Stallone made her watch pornography, take part in sexual acts and touched her inappropriately.

On Wednesday, sheriff's deputies were waiting at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport when Stallone's flight arrived from JFK International Airport. During questioning the sheriff's office said Stallone admitted to the abuse and said he still dreams about sexually abusing the girl.

Stallone has been charged with one count of sexual battery upon a child and three counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.

BSO detectives have reason to believe there may be more victims and encourage anyone with information to contact BSO SVU Det. Ann Suter at (954) 321-4240.
