Severe Weather Moving Into South Florida

MIAMI (CBS4) - The cold front responsible for the deadly tornado outbreak is moving across Florida Thursday night.

There have been reports of golfball and baseball sized hail north of Lake Okeechobee.

CBS4 Chief Meteorologist David Bernard is expecting a round of storms right here in South Florida Friday. Bernard says some of the storms could be strong.

The first storms could develop by early afternoon with additional activity continuing into the evening hours.
