Man Dies After Scuffle With Cops Outside Universal Studios Theater

ORLANDO (CBS4) -- Authorities say a man who got into a scuffle with police officers outside a movie theater at Universal CityWalk in Orlando died shortly after the incident.

Universal Studios security called Orlando police early Friday when the man started acting irrationally.

Police say the man, who has not been identified, resisted violently. An officer used a stun gun on the man and he was handcuffed.

Officials say the man then became unresponsive and officers attempted to revive him.

He was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital, where he died.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the incident.
