Two So. Fla. Strangers Connected By One Very Expensive Watch

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) What would you do if a package was delivered to your house by mistake?

What if it was a very expensive watch worth tens of thousands of dollars? Would your answer change?

That was the dilemma for a Fort Lauderdale man.

The package was meant for a street address but was mistakenly delivered to an avenue address where Brenni Elisee lives.

"I didn't think much of it. I'm not going to lie, I even shook the box. I even tossed the box," said Elisee.

Brenni says he called the number on the box and reached Aaron Parthemer who picked up the box.

"I saw the name of my jeweler and I just about fainted. The fact of the matter is it came to someone else's house," said Parthemer. "It wasn't signed for and it was just left there. There would have been no trace of it."

The watch could have simply disappeared but Elisee says that would not have been the right thing to do.

As a reward, the watch owner is treating Elisee and his girlfriend to a Heat game. They will have a limo pick them up on Saturday. They will be VIP guests and have floor seats. Elisee says they've been told they will also meet some Heat players.

"Wow. I was just blown away. VIP and we get to meet the Heat players," said Elisee. "I don't know  what I did to deserve this. I feel like I'm worth 90 million now by doing this  and my mom is very proud of me."
