CBS4 Changes Anchor Lineup

MIAMI (CBS4) - Changes in the lineup for the anchors for CBS4 News broadcasts were announced Monday afternoon. "These new assignments will maximize the strengths of each of our anchors," CBS4 Vice President/General Manager Adam Levy said.

Longtime CBS4 anchor Eliott Rodriguez will join Shannon Hori as co-anchors of CBS4 news at 5 and 11 p.m. In addition to his anchor duties, Eliott has been the host of CBS4's public affairs show, "News & Views," and has spent decades reporting news in South Florida.

Antonio Mora will be featured as the solo anchor of CBS4's 6pm weekday newscast. Antonio will bring his decades of experience as an anchor and reporter to the program.

CBS4's hour-long weeknight newscast on WBFS/TV 33 will continue to feature Cynthia Demos as the main anchor for show.

"We look forward to having Eliott, Shannon, Antonio, and Cynthia continue to play major roles for us, as valued members of our news team and as representatives of our stations out in the community," Levy said.

WFOR/CBS4 and WBFS/TV 33 are part of the CBS Television Stations, a division of CBS Corporation.
