Woman Killed In Broward Turnpike Pile Up

DAVIE (CBS4) – One woman was killed, three other people were injured, in a multi-vehicle crash on the Florida Turnpike in Broward early Sunday morning.

Around 6:20 a.m. a woman driving a Mazda was heading north when she was rear ended about a half mile south of I-595, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald. Drivers coming up on the scene of the crash swerved to avoid hitting it and ended up hitting each other. The woman in the Mazda was killed.
