Two Killed In West Palm Mobile Home Park Shooting
WEST PALM BEACH (CBS4) - Two people are dead, a third injured, in an early morning shooting at a West Palm Beach trailer park.
The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. at the Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park in the 15-hundred block of Drexel Road.
The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said when their deputies arrived they found a woman dead on the scene and another woman and man suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured were taken to St. Mary's Medical Center where the man was pronounced dead; the woman is expected to survive.
The sheriff's office said the shooting may have been the result of a 'heated altercation' which had happened earlier. According to witnesses, just after 2 a.m. a group of people were gathered in the back of the residence when shots were fired into the crowd striking the three people.
The names of those who died have not been released.
