MIAMI (CBS4) – Three firearms are in the hands of criminals following a residential burglary in Kendall, according to Miami-Dade Police.

The crooks entered a home in the 7100 block of Southwest 103 Court by smashing the glass in a rear sliding-glass door just after noon Thursday, said Det. Bobby Williams.

Items taken include $4500 in cash, jewelry valued at $10,000, a Samsung laptop computer valued at just under $1000 and three firearms, according to police reports.

Witnesses said they saw a red pickup truck in the victim’s driveway that was left running. A neighbor’s surveillance camera was able to capture images of the burglar.
