Aquatic Adventures: Florida Bay’s Bountiful Sea Life

FLORIDA BAY (CBS4) — In this week’s Aquatic Adventures, CBS4’s Jeff Berardelli takes you to Florida Bay near Flamingo.

Florida Bay is a unique estuary where water from the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Everglades come together. This unique convergence allows for a huge variety of life, and because the bay is very shallow with thousands of islands,  it is difficult for novice boaters to navigate.

For this reason, the waters are relatively untouched and the sea life is prolific, bountiful and beautiful.
