Stephen King No Fan Of Rick Scott
SARASOTA (CBS4) - Author Stephen King has concocted some of the most horrific stories in recent history, but to him, new Florida Governor Rick Scott may be one of the scariest things out there.
"Maybe my next horror novel will star Rick Scott," King told a rally.
King spoke to a crowd in Sarasota rallying against state budget cuts Thursday and bashed Scott's leadership. He was critical of Scott's decision to reject federal funds for a high-speed rail between Tampa and Orlando.
King also said that while he is healthy and happily paying his 28 percent tax rate; he said someone in his tax bracket should be paying 50 percent.
King is a part-time resident of Casey Key in Sarasota County.
