Woman's Arm Severed In Accident
BOYNTON BEACH (CBS4) - A rear-end crash into a Florida Power & Light Company truck cost an elderly woman her arm.
Betty Botta, 86, of Boynton Beach had her arm severed above the elbow after the car she was in crashed into the rear of a FPL truck in the 100 block of Southwest 18th Street shortly before 7 pm, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
According to Boyton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater, Botta, who was seated in the front seat, may have lost her arm because of the airbag.
