Woods & Mickelson Paired Together At Cadillac Championship

DORAL, Fla. (CBS4) - Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have seen unprecedented success on the PGA Tour and on Thursday, the duo will be playing together in a threesome at the 2011 Cadillac Championship on Doral's Blue Monster course.

Woods and Mickelson are set to tee off just before noon at the Cadillac Championship on hole number 10. Then on Friday, the duo again will be playing with Graeme McDowell and will start from the first tee just before 1 p.m.

The Cadillac Championship decided to base the groups for the first two rounds on the World Golf rankings. Other tournaments including the U.S. Open have based their groupings on the same principle.

Thursday's pairings marks the 27th time Woods and Mickelson and have been in the same group at a tournament. Woods has only beaten Mickelson's score once in the last eight times they've been matched together.
