DORAL (CBS4)- All lanes northbound on the Palmetto Expressway near Northwest 36th Street in Doral were reopened after rescuers were able to remove a person from a vehicle following a crash.
The Northbound lanes on the expressway, also known as State Road 826, were closed early Friday afternoon after a crash occurred in the northbound lanes of the Palmetto near the Northwest 36th Street exit.
Chopper 4 flew over the scene where traffic was backed up for several miles as commuters made their way to the exit ramp near NW 36th Street.
A box truck apparently flipped over several times, trapping one person inside.
