Former Wolverines QB Eyeing UM

MIAMI (CBS4) - Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Tate Forcier is considering bringing his talents to South Beach.

Forcier made an official visit to Miami on Monday as he tried to decide which school he will attend after leaving the University of Michigan, according to ESPN's Joe Schad.

Forcier was at one time the starter for Wolverines under former coach Rich Rodriguez. He had problems staying healthy, but threw for 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in his only year as a starter in 2009.

Forcier was eventually replaced by current Wolverines starting quarterback Denard Robinson. Forcier was deemed ineligible for the Wolverines Gator Bowl loss last season.

Miami is among the list of schools Forcier is considering. The other schools include: Kansas State, Arizona, and Washington. Miami is also in the market for former Rutgers quarterback Tom Savage.
