City Of Miami Appoints New Deputy City Manager

MIAMI (CBS4) - Newly appointed City of Miami Manager Tony Crapp Jr. is busy getting to work hiring new employees at City Hall.

His latest recruit is his number two: Deputy City Manager.

Crapp appointed Johnny Martinez to the post, city officials announced today.

Martinez will responsible for managing public works, capital improvements, general services administration, building, zoning and planning departments as well as provide additional oversight of other departments and projects.

Crapp says Martinez's promotion in no way will have a fiscal impact on the city.
