Local Runner Eyes 2012 Olympic Games

MIAMI (CBS4) - Cedric Nabe runs any chance he gets.

"Just love the feeling of speed, just love to be able to express myself and let my legs go," said Nabe.

For ten years, he's been training to see just how far his legs will take him.

"I won my first race, and I said, oh this is cool! Let's keep going," he said.

Now 27 years old, Cedric has competed in many races. But there is one major event on the horizon: the 2012 Olympics in London.

"If you believe you can do it, just go for it," he said.

But as much as he loves running, Cedric's other passion is a keystroke away. He studied Information Technology at FSU with a full athletic scholarship. In 2008, he was named Student of the Year.

"You know, I was the first one in my family to graduate from college," he said.

That's why Cedric wants to share his academic success with others. He launched a website called, NoteLog.com. The idea is simple: one student uploads a set of notes, "the other students can go look at it and say well, you know I think that may start something, let me add something to that note. So that's how you collaborate to have the best of notes," he said.

Cedric hopes that collaboration leads to better grades.

"Without education, you can't go anywhere," he said.

And while his legs have taken him far, "Everybody knows you can't run forever," he said.

Unless, of course, you're Cedric Nabe.
