No Bond For Man Accused Of Fondling Young Boy
MIAMI (CBS4) - A Miami man is behind bars accused of touching the private parts and licking the ear of a 4-year-old boy.
Roberto Garcia, 72, was arrested by Miami Police and charged with three counts of Lewd & Lascivious conduct.
Special Victim's Unit detectives say Garcia entered the victim's parent's store on the 900 block of Southwest 5th Street in Miami.
After making his purchase, police say Garcia distracted the victim's mother by asking her to make him a cup of Cuban coffee.
According to the arrest affidavit, Garcia then reached across the store's counter and began to fondle the little boy and lick his ear.
Police say the Garcia was also seen on surveillance video touching his privates, reaching for the little boy's hand and pulling it toward his exposed penis.
After Garcia left, the boy reportedly told his mother what happened. She then reported Garcia, a regular customer at the store, to police.
After his arrest, Garcia allegedly confessed to the indecent acts.
He is being held on no bond.
