ME: Heart Problem Led To Braddock Student Death

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) — Family and friends of a South Florida high school student now have answers following the sudden death of the 16-year-old boy while he was running track at school.

According to the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s office, Antonio Robas’ death has been certified as a natural death. The ME states the G. Holmes Braddock High School student had a congenital heart defect.

Robas collapsed and died while running track during PE at the Southwest Miami-Dade school in September 2009.
