Everglades Park Buildings Go Pink
MIAMI (CBS4) - The park service buildings in the Everglades National Park are now pretty in pink.
In a throwback to their original color scheme the buildings are being repainted an eye-popping flamingo pink.
"We're bringing them back to their former glory," said Park official Melissa Memory.
Memory admits that initially some people weren't exactly thrilled with the idea. The National Park Service has long adopted a blend-into-the-background look for its buildings. But Memory says the reaction from the public and staff has been mostly positive.
