PLANTATION (CBS4) — A two-car accident on 49th Avenue and West Broward Boulevard in Plantation sent several people to the hospital Saturday, including one woman who was ejected from one of the vehicles.
The Plantation Fire Department responded to an accident shortly after 4 p.m. where two vehicles had collided in the east-bound lane of Broward Boulevard. Four people were injured.
Plantation Fire Department Spokesman Chief Joel Gordon is reporting that two victims were taken as trauma patients to Broward General Hospital and two others were taken to Plantation General Hospital with minor injuries.
Eastbound lanes were shut for several hours at the crash scene.
