M-D Police Bust Scrooges

MIAMI (CBS4) - The Miami-Dade Police Department hit the streets over the past few days to carry out what they termed as "Operation Scrooge Busters."

Police pulled in quite a haul of both drugs and scrooges. Miami-Dade Police made a total of 41 arrests, including 27 felonies, 13 misdemeanors, and 1 traffic arrest.

The operation pulled in nearly 60 grams of crack cocaine, 59 grams of powder cocaine, 27 grams of marijuana, and other drugs and cash.

Many of those arrested had criminal histories including charges for grand theft, burglary, and sexual battery.
