Skateboarding Teen Killed By Car
MIAMI (CBS4) -- A teenager is dead Sunday night after being struck by a car.
Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said the 14-year old boy was struck and killed near NW 53rd Avenue and NW 7th Street in Miami at about 6 p.m. while riding his skateboard.
Witnesses said the boy was crossing the road where there is no crosswalk.
Reyes said the boy was pinned between two vehicles, one heading east, the other west. The boy died on the scene.
Both drivers stayed at the scene and are cooperating with police.
