FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) – Still no word on what caused the death of cook on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas during its last voyage.

According to a statement from the cruise line, the 33-year old Jamaican man was found dead in his cabin on November 26th.

“As is our standard procedure, both the FBI and local law enforcement were notified and responding to the ship on Saturday when it arrived at Port Everglades.”

The Oasis of the Seas and its sister ship, the Allure of the Seas, are two of the largest ships in Royal Caribbean’s fleet. Port Everglades is the home port for both ships.
