He toiled in the desert for years, but Amar’e Stoudemire’s biggest impact has been since he signed with the New York Knicks.

Stoudemire is a beast on the low post, standing 6’10” and weighing 240 pounds. He has the flexibility to play either power forward or center.

Stoudemire averages 22 points and 8.8 rebounds per game during the regular season. He gave life to a moribund Knicks team in 2010 and finally has the Knicks respectable again.

In the postseason, Stoudemire’s game has been excellent. In 2004, he averaged nearly 30 points and 11 rebounds per game. He averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds per game the next season.
